Description: Provides troubleshooting and diagnostic assistance for macOS and Windows-related issues beyond what can be handled at the CSE-IT Service Desk, including advanced remote and/or on-site visits as necessary to resolve incidents and service requests.

Included:

  • Coordinates and performs on-site service for computers in client units. Visits can include basic troubleshooting, hardware move/add/change, and/or hardware setup/removal.
  • Coordinates and performs remote support sessions using University-standard support tools.
  • Remote support can include diagnostics and troubleshooting, software move/add/change, and software configuration assistance.

Not Included:

  • Privately-owned computers.
  • Off-site locations from Minneapolis campus.
