Included:
- We have a certain number of “blank VMs” available on a first-come-first-served basis every term, and all such VMs are wiped and returned to the pool at the conclusion of the class. A few of the hosts we provide have specialized hardware, such as advanced GPUs.
- We can provide administrator privileges for students to VMs on request and with a satisfactory justification.
- We support specialized clustering software (e.g. Hadoop).
- We can configure and host specialized servers and server configurations for classes (e.g. Tomcat for web programming).
- We currently support only Ubuntu. We would support others with a sufficiently compelling justification.
- We can support a wide variety of software and configurations, given enough advance notice.
Not Included:
- Any purchases we make will be passed through to your accounts.
