Description: Provides standardized Linux support and management, including support for Linux printing services via CSE-IT print servers.

Included:

• Support and infrastructure to facilitate Linux use in research and instruction, similar to the standardized support provided to Windows and MacOS computers.
• Ubuntu is CSE-IT’s standard and preferred platform; Scientific Linux receives department-specific support on a business-case basis.

Not Included:

• All Linux servers, as well as customized instructional or research use, which are supported by other CSE-IT services.
• Other varieties of Linux (Red Hat, etc.).
