Included:

• Managed Ubuntu OS installations for workstations, desktops, and laptops.
• OS deployment, management, authentication, and troubleshooting.
• Ubuntu application packaging, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Linux-related hardware purchase consulting.
• Printing configuration to a windows print server(CUPS).

Not Included:

• Other varieties of Linux (Red Hat, etc.) would require a sufficient business justification to encourage CSE-IT to support them, and would incur additional costs.
• Linux Server management or support.
• Programming and custom script assistance.
• The installation of unlicensed or trial/demo software.
• The installation of unsupported software.
• We do not backup end-user data; backups are the user’s responsibility.
• Linux research server hosting & support for non-CSE units are provided via CSE-IT’s Datacenter Hosting for Research service.
